Embracing both the University community as well as the local Denver/Aurora community through involvement and service is a priority to many student organizations. Through commitment to enhancing life experiences of the members of our community, student organization members meet needs, engage in hands-on learning, and find personal fulfillment via acts of community service. Many student organizations find by providing service to the community, they further engage in pursuing more sustainable commitments to outside organizations needing assistance.
Eligibility:Any recognized student organization (affiliated, campus wide, or associated) at the Anschutz Medical Campus. The student organization registration must be current with the Student Services Office and the Anschutz Medical Campus Student Senate. Registration/Affiliation Agreement forms are available here on the Student Organization page. The Registration/Affiliation Agreement form must be complete with all signatures.
Criteria:The award recipient must have a continuing commitment to community service as reflected in one or more programs and/or initiatives, which are responsive to community needs, and which exhibit a new or continuing partnership with the community.
